Clare joined the Firm in March 2019 as a Junior Executive. She completed her Law with Business Administration BA Hons degree at the University of Kent in 2016, followed by the Master of Laws in Professional Practice (LPC LLM) at the University of Law, Guildford in 2018.

Clare deals with Private Client matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Inheritance Tax cases. The nature of Clare’s role means she works closely with her clients, ensuring the delivery of an efficient, tailored personal experience to suit all. 

It is never easy nor do we want to think about our death or plan for it. Clare has experience in helping clients who may find legal matters daunting by offering reassurance and compassion when considering the future and their potential needs.

Clare assists clients of all ages and backgrounds getting their affairs in order from those who believe they do not necessarily need a Will to those who won’t have factored in the possibility of becoming incapacitated either through old age, illness, emergency or an accident. 

Clare advises on the following:

  • making a will – to ensure your money and property goes to those you have chosen to receive it. 
  • lasting powers of attorney – to ensure that if you become unable to make decisions about your finance and property affairs or health and welfare for yourself, someone you trust has authority to make them for you.
  • court of protection  – assisting with the application to acquire a Deputyship Order to enable the ‘Deputy’ to manage a vulnerable persons affairs. 
  • probate and administration – to ensure that everything goes as planned following wishes outlined in a Will, Clare can apply for a grant of probate and assist executors with the administration of an estate or alternatively handle the administration and distribution as required.

Clare is based in our Tenterden office but advises clients throughout Kent.
