Frequently Asked Questions:Resolution
In 1982 a group of Solicitors dedicated to improving family law practice formed the Resolution Panel. The association is now one of the largest of any Practice Area whose member have agreed to abide by the association's code of conduct which aims to reduce acrimony in divorce, children's issues and related matters, for the benefit of concerned parties.
Members appreciate the sensitive nature of family proceedings and understand that all parties concerned are under considerable emotional strain. Consequently the solicitors aim to promote a non-confrontational approach to resolving family issues, whilst also ensuring that outcomes are reasonable and constructive in their application. Members of Resolution specialise in family law are committed to furthering the association's aims.
